Good luck beating the game without jumping!
Re: Rather than jumping, solely rely on gravity shifts for vertical movement in addition to walking, but not jumping. It should be possible, as I’ve beaten some levels this way.

What

It's great, but not perfect. If only it had the option to export a custom file (ie. similar to a PSD or FLA) so I don't permanently lose the source.
RE: @ayekerik: What skill thing? I just want to save my work so I don't lose it.
Sounds like a skill related thing
What would've been a perfectly simple platformer here is ruined by extremely basic and repetitive platforms with no background, a stickman who lost the skin off its left arm and leg, and no respawning after you fall off. You just have to restart the game.
There's also no music or sound effects, so if you're deaf you'd probably throw this game away too!
Well, I didn't think my first game was that funny
Thanks for the comment tho
I cannot understand what I'm supposed to do in this game.
you leave the base to collect helpers and with the helpers you upgrade the base and fix it. once you have done that every 5 mins pirates will come and destroy it i am adding more stuff as this game is pre release
At least use the proper tags.
Control's a little wonky, full-screen is very blurry, and some areas I can't see where I'm going.
send a screenshot, and browser/OS details
I honestly expected this to be the GBA version of Alien Hominid running on a GBA emulator, but I'd rather be playing that.
haha, i might be able to do that but it'd be illegal to put it on newgrounds.
If it weren't for the lack of sound and enemies this would be a nice metroidvania and I'd recommend to more people, even if the platforming is a little difficult to handle.
Sorry 😅 i forgot to delete that label "6AnyH nox". I will definitely add enemies
Graphics and music are good, but the controls really need to be improved. You move and attack slowly, making it difficult to avoid taking damage. I had this sort of problem when I played the prequel last year, except that was a platformer.
Nice to hear from someone who played both. Yep controllers were a complex one to define, the intention was to make the gameplay more about reacting to enemies, so attacking is not as 'free', and I agree that movement could be smoother, if it feels stiff then it's not ideal, so it's time to keep looking for that sweet spot.
Thanks Frog!
