Hello, I'm the anonymous frog. I've been in the Kitty Krew ever since it's been revived earlier this year and I'd like to keep that going for quite some time. As a result, I'm going to be hosting a small mini-contest to celebrate Kitty Day and boost interest into our tiny little 'spam' crew.
Kitty Day 2022 marks the 16th anniversary of the Kitty Secksings Collab (NSFW), which is generally attributed as the movie that helped start the Kitty Krew, theoretically making the KK old enough to drive (in the United States)
We will accept both movie and art submissions for the contest, but feel free to post anything else.
This year's super-optional theme is 'Size difference'!

Winners will be judged by me and other members of the Kitty Krew.
There's no money in this, but I'll make it up to you by offering something a little more special instead. I'll draw your prizes! PM me for details on either of them

What to expect:
I can do backgrounds and full body work (anything less, you're getting ripped off), but animation is generally limited in order to save time.
Shading is also very minimal and I tend to mess it up occasionally.

Rules and Guidelines:
Rules:
- Keep things SFW. M rating is fine, A lot of older [KK] submissions were A rated, but it's dodgy business nowadays.
- No unlicensed or copyrighted music. The KK used to use it extensively in movies, and even though some still exist, they likely won't be put into any collection.
- You can use any software to make your submission, given it abides by Newgrounds's Art Guidelines and Movie Guidelines. This means you can't post meme clips from TikTok or stuff you've generated using DALL-E Mini.
- Should include some relevancy to the Kitty Krew, which can include the Kitty character or simply including [KK] in the title. You also don't need to follow the theme
- Submissions must be tagged with "kittyday2022". You can also tag with 'kk' and 'kittykrew'
Additional Information:
- You don't need to put too much effort into the submission, Kitty Day is only two weeks away, but ideally it should still be able to reach a score of 3 stars so it can enter the 'Best New Games and Movies' section, and even more ideally, should not be blammable.
- Participants of all skill levels are welcome,
- Don't rush yourselves! Although Kitty Day is July 17th, the contest will still accept submissions up until August 17th, which should also overlap Clock Day. This means you can use the same submission for both events.
- Games are allowed, but will be grouped in with Movies.
For Flash submissions, don't forget the Kitty Krew preloader, provided to you by BFK in 2010

Other KK News
We're hosting a KK Collab! the Great Tweens Collab is still going. I'll host this for as long as I need to, even if it's not finished by Kitty Day or the contest. We've got 5 parts already and we're aiming for at least 8-10 parts from participants. You can do as many as you need, from small 2 second movie loops, or maybe something even longer.
Note: You will need Flash to animate your part(s), which requires some Flash skills. You can find old versions of Flash here. Anything above CS3 will be less likely to be accepted, because I need this to work with Ruffle.
