No lip-syncing, characters don't move. Who in the f*** told you that you's an animator?
At least the character poses are good.

REVIEW:
This is a very weird cartoon, to say in few words. Nothing seems to stay on model and the background is inconsistent for each scene, but that doesn’t really hinder the complete randomness that takes place around Sonic, of Bart Simpson, or whatever popular characters that appear here.

INFO:
I also want to note and also inform several reviewers that about 5 years ago, Golfinho was called out for tracing/plagiarising by ZekeySpaceyLizard and W-P-S, including one flash ripped off wholesale and uploaded to YouTube only partially modified in 2016, which I only found out from the magical powers called RESEARCH. If anything was stolen here, either I must have missed it since it wasn’t that blatant, or he had quietly moved past that completely. I really hope only the latter is true.

Either way this is still a moderately entertaining cartoon, even if you don’t enjoy my history lesson.

For its time (2008), the animation is really good, and still is. It blends 'traditional' Flash animation with sprite animation in certain areas, with custom Miyamoto sprites in at least three different games.

The Flash sections use very minimal animation, some motion tweens are used, and a few imperfections in the outlines are noticeable, a common problem with Flash movies of the time, but it's still well-shaded.

The music was replaced in May 2022 for copyrighted reasons, (originally the Fatboy Slim song "Gangster Tripping"). Unlike what @LiteraryWho said, it was @Recorped who swapped it out with something more Nintendo themed, although I did consider making an original track (I got lazy).
However, it did still credit the old music, so I hand-drew the new text. That's the only involvment I can claim here outside of a lengthy PM conversation regarding other removed submissions.

Also presumably as a result of being removed for so long, its score of 4.86 managed to get preserved well enough to put it in the top 50 movies of all time, beating out Tarboy and several Madness movies.

Even after his presidency ended, Bush continued to be a fucking moron. Yesterday he slipped up Iraq instead of Ukraine.

Anyways, There's a lot more stuff going on this YAAFM compared to others, not just Reginold, Slugger, their hellpit, or that big ol' television.

So he eats his hand at 0:57, but when he dies at 1:11, his hand is back.

Music pans from right ear to left. Keep it consistent or it's going to get annoying.

Ah! I didn't think sound would do that with a source set to infinite range. Lesson for the next one, then.

EDIT: This is actual genuine criticism, what’s with the bad emojis?

This review is dedicated specifically to the animation/visuals.

GOOD:
The characters are simple, yet cute and expressive.

The first-person scene from 0:08 to 0:16 was done frame by frame to emulate 3D. I bet that was difficult to do, but it was done using only outlines and looks really rough.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENTS:
In frames 88-89, the mother switches poses without any in-betweens. She was holding a spoon in the former and not holding it in the latter. Where did it go?

She also lacks lip-syncing (except the 'here comes the airplane' line), which is a good way to indicate if a user is talking.

Outlines are really rough. It's not that noticeable to the human eye when the frame is only visible for 1-2 frames, ie. the baby crawling under the fridge, but people WILL notice it if you stay on that frame for a lot longer, ie. the mother looking at the baby crawl under the fridge (specifically at her neck).
I recommend you attempt to fix these outlines after you've drawn them.

This is a really simple animation. So simple, I bet I can teach a few beginners how to recreate this.

No, seriously!

Step 1: Draw the girl looking up
Step 2: Redraw about 3 more frames with the hair / clothes distorted in the direction of the wind (which is right in her face), but keep the face still.
Step 3: Every frame switch between these alternate drawings.
Step 4: At random intervals, change the brightness
Step 5: Speed up a video of some clouds and paste that on the background.
Step 6: Steal some music from a SNES game and use that.

Lesson over.

I can see a lot of corners were cut in order to achieve even 50 minutes of animation. Characters are usually only shown from the waist up, barely move aside from their eyes and mouth. They're also never use any additional poses. This results in you being able to push this out quicker, but it comes at the cost of quality. About 60-70% of this animation is just talking heads and the rest still don't even animate that well, such as in 16:57, to give an example. Look at how the protagonist jumps. Does it look very janky to you?

I can't comment much on the writing + dialogue, since it's in Portuguese, but thankfully there's subtitles.

SUGGESTIONS:
- 10 minutes is more time than you'll ever need here, so aim for that.
- Try to actually make your characters move.
- Don't reuse the same pose in 20 different scenes.
- I've also noticed an inconsistent outline thickness. If I had to guess it's because the smoothness is set too high. Set it to 40-45

thanks homie, really appreciate it

When FatBadger comes back to Newgrounds and submits not one, but TWO cartoons satirising you; you know you fucked up! That’s what makes FatBadger so funny.

Speak now or forever hold your peace.
