This was originally published as a reupload of the Piconjo Jam, presumably by accident. It was swapped with the actual movie just minutes later.

Really goofy looking Mario cartoon. I appreciate the style and the many MANY character expressions, but it does look rough in many areas, notably when outlines stick out. There are also some poses that change without any in-betweens.

Some things to note:

1. This video blends live action with 'gameplay' consisting of actual cardboard cutout drawn to resemble the graphics of Doom.
Enemies and weapons are either puppeteered by hand or moved digitally. The latter are sometimes animated using different sprites (such as the lost souls). A considerable amount of effort has been made to craft this video, even though a good amount of NG users (myself included) may prefer traditional animation or even stop-motion.

2. This video was released on YouTube on Sep 6, 2018 and has 10K views as of today.
This is the 15th video to be brought over to Newgrounds over a 2 week span by an already established creator (12k+ subscribers).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8RGaKyaJPc
The creator has since made other cardboard Doom videos, with one in 2020 covering the PC version (and also using 3D sets rather than 2D backgrounds), and a 2021 video about Doom 2 with John Romero himself cameoing as a severed head.

3. The video was initially published without a title as "untitled #1936309". I recommend putting the title in before hitting "Publish".

4. The actual SNES version of Doom was released in 1995 and lacks textures on the floors and ceilings, but it's acknowledged that these are ignored.

5. The video's tagged with 'doom', 'doom-2', 'doom-3', and 'doom-eternal' even though the video only covers the original Doom.

Sorry anonymous frog we had too many pronouns and were pandering and virtue signalling

To be 100% with you, why the rating system? this means nothing to me if you can review something give a real review please, like holy shit. Wtf even is the cringe rating section? these numbers mean nothing, give real critique, please!

NOTE: This is a very rare case of a movie with medals. To get them, you must click on 9 diamond items scattered around the Flash version of the movie.

To unlock the medals, add "?emulate=flash" to the end to open Ruffle. It should work completely fine.

Collecting both the axe and sword unlocks "Battle Ready", the pickaxe and shovel unlocks "Mining Tools', the helmet and chestplate unlocks "Suit up", and 3 diamonds unlock "DiamondHunter extrordinare"

How to unlock:
- Helmet: In a cave as the camera pans down. This can be a bit difficult to miss. To make it easier, try right clicking the flash and click 'Play' to pause the movie.

- Shovel: In the player's hotbar in the very first scene.

- Diamond #1. Behind the player and partially obstructed by the explosion. The one that falls
into the lava can't be clicked

- Axe: Held by a zombie underneath the lapis

- Diamond #2. Behind a tree on the left when the player weightlifts.

- Sword: In front of the tree on the left in the creeper punching

- Pickaxe: Right to the player when fully geared in the cave

- Chestplate: In the player's inventory, right to the multiple stacks of 'Stoan'

- Diamond #3. Under a skeleton's foot right in the FFUUUUUU scene

Hope that helps!

This 8 second has some fairly decent animation. It's in colour, it has some interesting background work, it's mildly amusing seeing Hagrid sent flying by Harry's spells, but that's about it.

Big elephant in the room: Quantity over quality. You've already posted 5-6 cartoons under 30 seconds (sometimes under 15 seconds) in the past 2 months. Pace yourself. It's not uncommon for a NG creator to go months without a single upload

Just looked at this again. Ye. Honestly you have a point. I do need to pace myself tbf

Full color, fully shaded animation that looks very nice. A little bit lewd, but still.

When I first reviewed your stuff, you barely used any audio, but now, you use enough that it doesn't break the immersion. Well, MoistCr1tiKaL audio clips aside, it's still a massive improvement.

However, I will take offense at the scene where Whitney takes off her shirt (as seen in the thumbnail), Not because I and the rest of the reviewers didn't get to see boobies, but because you used a 30 second clip from Devil May Cry with copyrighted music, specifically the track "Bury the Light"

On YouTube, you could sort of get away with it, but Newgrounds is a small independent platform that can't afford to take a lawsuit from Capcom, so they enforce strict rules regarding music usage. So here at least, you might have to use something else in your bait and switch. Or just release it uncensored.

Can't find an icon? Use a screenshot from the animation itself!

Okay, that's actually a good idea. How come didn't I think of it?!

Just as good as the last year's FFFFFF. Keep them going. Or don't. Clock Day movies take a shitload of work and you REALLY don't want to do that. That's why I do Clock games. A musical may works fine too.

Very rigid and barely animated (unless you count the arms). The worst offender has to be when Caulifla points at her boobs at 0:20. It looks like his arms have shrunk. The voices are not too bad.

Très rigide et à peine animé (sauf si vous comptez les bras). Le pire délinquant devrait être lorsque Caulifla pointe ses seins à 0:20. On dirait que ses bras ont rétréci. Les voix ne sont pas trop mauvaises.
