I appreciate the effort that went into drawing 100 OCs, of which only a handful I recognise.
This was derived from a thread created 2 months ago and each OC are drawn in a sort-of pixel-art style (with some patterning in a few spots)
It can be found here.

I do want to point out that most of the OCs, their shading, outlines, poses, major facial details etc are done in a way where a large portion can be mirrored horizontally.
Some avert this slightly, such as character no.71 with a fully asymmetrical TV for a head, while some have a different colour on their mirrored side (such as character no.94's shirt or no.7's hair). Personally it doesn't sit well with me and I see it as a little cheap.

Aside from that, kudos for adding two characters in one of the frames rather than just picking one.

colorsCrimsonTears responds:

Yeah they're basically all mirrored except in a few spots where it wouldn't be possible. I wouldn't have got done even in two months if I hadn't been able to do that lol
And they're portraits so I was hoping it'd be somewhat understandable ^^'
Thank you for reviewing this!!

Outlines are a little bit too thin. A thicker outline may be able to disguise slightly wonky anatomy.

Aside from that, I recommend also working on better shading. Don’t just use lighter shades, try experimenting with the hues and saturation to figure out what works best

Finasty responds:

The brush size is 4px in a 3k canvas, no wonder why it's thin, also as a person who draw anime, thin lines are pretty common, i think you might check the other anime fanarts from japanese person or whatever, they use the thin brush most of the times, even i cant clearly see the lines bcoz it looks like a camouflage

For the shades, i still use the cellshade, the easiest shading i make bcoz my phone cant handle too much stuff when drawing

Although the proportions and shading are good, she almost looks a bit flat, notably in a few certain areas, for example, her toes.

The big elephant in the room are the outline corners. They're all rounded somewhat.
I believe you're using the line tool in a vector program like Flash/Animate (or something similar)
It doesn't look too bad when the lines are just 1-2 pixels wide, but at this resolution, (2160 x 3840 to be precise) it appears to be 4 pixels wide and I can see the roundedness and other imperfections.

Consider drawing the outlines using the brush tool, then tweak them a little bit afterward and allow sharper corners. In Flash/Animate, you can also "Convert Lines to Fills'

EDIT: I made no mention of that boot/sandal having unnecessary shading, but thanks for bringing that up.

Finasty responds:

You guess it, i am using Brush (Thick with no sharp edges) for like one year since my first time doing art, and it was good for some reason, but my art trainer also suggest me to use a brush with a sharp edges on for better lines, and no, i am not using Flash/Animate, but i am using a pure drawing app (Medibang Paint) i'll try to use a brush with sharp edges on in my next art as well as fixing the eyes shades, but for the sharp edges brush, i need to get used to it first, so when i tried in the next art, it'll be good

Edit: One thing, my art trainer said that leather boots don't need a shades or stuff, so i follow him

Thanks for the correction, my friend

> He didn't take to the Project Pixkill style too well

Who said I didn't?

EDIT: Ooohh! His loss. Just so you know, submissions will still be accepted up until August 17th.

Wrong day. It's PICONJO Day. You are two days early.

Finasty responds:

I know :(
I draw those in just 2 days and uploaded 2 days later before the exact time date, my hands is a little naughty

They all look the same to me. Same face, same body, sometimes the same hair, only with different clothes and colours.

Pommisc responds:

Two characters that are the same age from the same place that have the exact same training. I mostly only draw these two characters so they are going to look the same...? I thought that would be obvious. They literally ARE the same characters. I have more variety if you took the time to look at fan-arts I've done, but this is what I like to draw. Have a good day! :)

Damn! It sucks it was removed from the store. How long should it take for them to verify it?

W-P-S responds:

The link should be working now!

Could the background gradient count as cheating? I don’t know.

Taka responds:

Well cmyk in printing is used to make different colors with printing sooooo not really

Incredible frame by frame animation. Having just heard of you from your old work, most notably Brawl Funnies, Im glad to see you are still animating here.

NOTE: .webp won't mess with the pixels.

EDIT: WEBP is a format that you can convert a video into and it'll work like a GIF.

CoolDrMoney responds:

Thanks for the tip! Webp is some sorta newfangled extension Im not used to but I'll do some deep diving

Speak now or forever hold your peace.
